about Sabrina Gonzales, AMFT #150013
Marriage & Family Associate
Hello, my name is Sabrina. I am a proud Filipina and Asian American clinician with a rich cultural identity that deeply informs my work and therapeutic approach. I understand first-hand the importance of honoring one’s heritage and individual experiences, and I bring that perspective into every session with warmth, respect, and empathy.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy unwinding with reality TV, exploring new coffee shops, and going on long walks (with a little window shopping along the way!).
I view mental and emotional challenges as parts of a larger system shaped by the complex ways we interact with ourselves, others, and the world around us. Factors such as family dynamics, attachment patterns in relationships, and our self-relationship all play a role in how we experience and navigate life. These interconnected influences can often lead to confusion or resistance, making it difficult to clearly identify what we truly want or need for ourselves. When working with me, clients can expect a compassionate and nonjudgmental presence. I strive to create a supportive space where individuals can be vulnerable while I hold a safe and grounded container for them to reflect, grow, and process parts of their lives that may feel complicated or unresolved. I approach clients with curiosity and openness, and encourage clients to explore meaningful topics relevant to their struggles.

What clients have to say about working with me
Past clients of mine have shared that they can open up about aspects of personal experiences that they previously felt uncomfortable discussing because they felt supported by the way I held their stories with care, safety, and respect.
