about Colleen Farragher, AMFT#144256
Marriage and Family Associate
Hello, I’m Colleen. I am a compassionate, grounded therapist who values authenticity, curiosity, and collaboration in the therapy process. I care deeply about creating a space where clients feel safe, respected, and understood. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with people I'm close to, finding moments of calm and humor in everyday life, and staying curious about personal growth.
I view mental and emotional difficulties through a holistic lens, shaped by interactions of life experiences, relationships, nervous system responses, and coping patterns. I believe many symptoms develop as understandable responses to stress, attachment experiences, and unmet needs.
It’s important to me that my clients feel connected to me because the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change. When working with me, clients can expect a warm, gentle, and collaborative therapeutic relationship in a non-judgmental space. I work from a mindfulness-based, attachment-informed, and DBT-influenced approach, meeting clients where they are while supporting growth at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.
When working with individuals, I focus on increasing self-understanding, building practical coping skills, and fostering greater emotional balance and connection. When working with couples, I help them improve communication, understand attachment patterns and develop emotional responsiveness.
